Description: Its scientific name is Allium sativum. Lily is a plant of small, fleshy bulb formed by teeth. The part used is the bulb, which is formed by a small bulbs or "cloves" of garlic, egg-shaped and slightly curved, surrounded by a membranous tunic. When the bulbs are intact its odor is very marked but the Court developed a strong odor.
